Homegrown Jewelry | Brand + Packaging Asset Design

Homegrown Jewelry, HGJ, is a woman-owned business out of Vermont, that specializes in stunning hand-made jewelry. Founder, Francesca D'Elia, aims to create work that helps women embrace their strength while feeling confident and empowered no matter what they are doing. Francesca and I have been working together for some time, from the initial graphics of her brand to a total refresh a few years later, one goal has remained the same – have beautiful branding that highlights the hand-made nature of her work, that compliments every piece regardless of materials and empowers the individuals repping HGJ. I created a logo system that combines her rustic, Vermont roots with a feminine energy. When paired with the chosen typography, HGJ’s branding feels professional, polished, trustworthy, and strong. I developed a color palette that was inspired by her metalwork the shades found in Vermont’s lush landscape; tones of brass, silver, gold, and shades of green. In addition, I designed business cards, jewelry backer cards, thank you cards, packaging tape, clothing hang-tags, and stickers. Francesca has also used this branding on her website, and within her vendor booth. Beyond this design work, I have also taken product photos for her collections in the past, which can be seen on my photography page here.
